BUGS HELP ME!!

Let me preface this by saying my home (apartment) is CLEAN I clean it every single night and deep clean atleast once a week! I try to keep the trash always taken out and dishes done and so on...

This morning I SWEAR I saw a roach or a cricket I can’t tell it wasn’t super crazy fast moving but it disappeared I can’t find it again!

So, I freaked out obviously I don’t want roaches! I let my apartment manager know and they are inspecting today. I already looked EVERYWHERE nothing, everything is clean and I didn’t see any signs of them (eggs, droppings, them scattering) NOTHING. I checked every crack and crevice.

Here’s the the problem, I can’t spray anything and they can’t investigate other units until they find something, which makes me mad because someone else could have a problem which lead them to my apartment. But there’s that saying “if you see one there are thousands” but I didn’t see anything anywhere! I also live in Nevada (very dry, not a common place for them) .

My mom suggest diatomaceous earth because it’s safe; they are also leaving me traps to use and put under moister areas!

But someone please but my mind at ease! Could I just be paranoid ? And there’s nothing ?

I’m throwing everything that is open/not in a can away. I hate wasting but sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️ I can’t risk it!
