Prilosec for infant?

My daughter is currently six weeks old & has suffered from acid reflux for the past few weeks.

The pediatrician has switched her formula to similac alimentum which she does well with, and has prescribed her liquid Zantac twice a day. The Zantac was working for the first week, she was a very happy baby.. but now we’re back to the drawing board with constant crying, wanting to eat so much to soothe herself that she’s gagging and spilling it out the sides of her mouth, and she’s just so restless only sleeping for about 20 minutes at a time.

I’m just wondering if anyone has had Prilosec prescribed to their littles for this. Did it help? When did you start to notice a difference? We’re starting the new prescription tomorrow.

Also has anyone tried a probiotic for their baby? Which type would you recommend?
