I’ve been married 3 1/2 years and already our sex life has started going down hill...my husband is currently in the police academy and so he’s rightfully very stressed and tired...BUT I’m horny and tired of not getting any. If he’s really stressed and tired, I’m sorry, but 3-4x a month sounds fairly reasonable. I mean, it stinks to be the one wanting more, and I’ve been there, but that’s not a terrible average.
You can try discussing it and setting a frequency goal in the middle of what you’d prefer and what he prefers. You can also discuss whether porn use, physical health (low testosterone, low energy, etc) is a factor.

My husband acts this way when he stressed or overworked. I find that the best way to ease his stress is by telling him how appreciated his hard work is. That it does not go unnoticed. Keep giving him your support. Sometimes our husbands need you to ask them how they are.. you might be surprised with the answers you get. When he feels really (extra) cared for... he might be more interested in sex. But give it some time too.
