How long did you allow people to see the baby after birth?

I have been thinking lately that I don’t want anyone to visit at the hospital or see my baby until about 3 days after he is born. 
I just feel like it would be way less stressful, is it wrong of me to do this ?? 
I should be doing the best thing for me and bub which I feel is waiting atleast a few days before being bombarded with people

I'm not even letting anyone know I'm in labour. MIL is insistent on being there and will get shitty if she finds out I'm having my mum there. So no one is coming to the hospital. And if people want to meet baby then they can come to me when we get home. You gotta do what makes YOU comfortable, this is your moment with your child. Don't let anyone ruin it for you

I can’t agree more! Hospital visits are nice for close family because I didn’t want people trying to come over and then I would worry about cleaning. So with my first tons of people were in and out of the hospital, second son it was just a few people.

I like attention so oof 😂 I would want people there but at the same time I don't bc everyone always hogs the baby, (I'm guilty of being a baby hogger) but it just depends on what makes you feel comfortable.

We made people wait 2 weeks. Minus those who we invited to the hospital. But even they had to wait 2 weeks to see her again. We wanted time just the three of us.

You’re the mom - you’re allowed to do as you please. I wish we wouldn’t have allowed people to visit. This time I will be telling nurses no visitors. My in-laws were in our room as I got wheeled back from recovery room after an unplanned c section. That will never happen again.

Ugh,  I had way too many people at the hospital, and people tend to overstay their welcome. I don't think I'll have hospital visitors this go round. If you decide not to have visitors for a few days, I suggest you don't even tell anyone that your nugget has even been born. People are annoying as hell and you'll be getting tons of calls and messages asking to see the baby.
