Stranger danger phase?

My daughter’s birthday party was today and she cried every single time people tried to hold her. Most of the people she doesn’t see often so I understood she wouldn’t be comfortable with them, but she cries nearly every time my husband’s parents try to take her. We see them 2 or 3 times a month versus my parents, who we see weekly and she has no problem at all with. 
I felt really bad that my husband’s parents couldn’t even hold her. The reason we don’t see them as much is because they are so busy and have plans almost every weekend, which is when we have free time to visit. 
Should I be concerned with her acting this way towards people/grandparents?

Our little girl is the same way with her dad's family. It's also because we don't get to see them often. But when we do, we try to stay around as long as we can so she gets used to them and spending time with them. She's getting better each time. My only suggestion is to just try to get more time in with them if you can. But it's nothing to worry about. Your baby will eventually grow out of it. :)

My son likes people and he interacts and plays with everyone. He loves hitting and biting other babies. I hope he doesn't get into this phase.

Pictures, pictures, pictures!!!
My son would not let me go whenever family would come see him!
So we used to show him pictures of relatives and tell him who they are.
He’s still very shy but a little less now.
He knows who everyone important is.
It’s very important to keep the whole stranger danger still because you never know who would try something.
I always tell my son if mama and papa are not with you, if somebody comes to you and tries to speak to you, do not speak with them if you don’t know them!
People are crazy everywhere sadly!
Print some pictures and find cute and funny nicknames for everyone I’m sure your little one will love it!

I think it’s completely normal but I understand it’s hard for you and other people. My lo has gotten better with this but still prefers me, her dad, or my mom who she sees a lot!
