People are so rude! Has anyone gone through this ?

I found out I was prego on Friday and I started telling people right away because we were overly excited to share our news with everyone and people have had such negative opinions. “They say you shouldn’t tell anyone until after the first trimester because you could miscarry” 
I know that but I’m not going to live my life thinking that this life inside of me is going to die 
How do people even say this stuff to pregnant women it is so wrong and they need to mind there own business 
I just want people to be excited for me , this is going to be a stressful time as I’m only 18 and my boyfriend is 22. We do have our own place to live with steady jobs but still it’s a lot and people adding to the stress does not help at all.
Has anyone else experienced this as well? How did you handle it ?

I understand. This is my second pregnancy and a coworker actually told me “so you really think you’re gonna be able to carry that baby huh?” I was shocked. I’ve never had a miscarriage and have a very healthy baby girl so I don’t understand what caused the harsh comment. I told everyone with her the same time I did with this baby and now it’s all I think about, that maybe I’ll wake up not pregnant anymore and feel like a fool for telling people.

Tell people, don't tell people. It's all a matter of preference. At the end of the day, to say that if you tell people early you're more likely to miscarry is outrageously superstitous, and you can tell those people exactly that. Because I'm rude when people are rude to me, I'd turn around and say, "...and let me guess? I shouldn't walk under a ladder and avoid black cats today, too, right?" Give me a break. If they can't share in your happiness, they can all kick rocks.

Don’t tell people 🤷🏼‍♀️ everyone is going to have their own opinions even if they aren’t wanted and it will continue through pregnancy and motherhood. I just brush it off and keep on going... and as for the miscarriage thing, they have probably went through a loss themselves as I have and I know how hard it was for me to turn around and tell everyone my baby had died. So that’s probably why they’re saying that to you, not to be rude
