28 Week Scan - Baby Measuring Big! Gestational Diabetes?

Hi ladies. 
Had my 28 week scan today & was told the baby is off the scale for both head and abdomen measurements. Also nearly at the top for weight, 3 lb 2 already. 
I’m really worried because I know he should be in proportion at the moment & his not!  
Anyone have any experience with this? They said it could be gestational diabetes or he is just big & im being sent for the lovely glucose test & growth scans every 4 weeks! 
Anxiety levels are through the roof tonight ☹️😞

Both my babies were LGA (large for gestational age) 8lb 7oz @ 39w and 9lb 13oz at 40w. They did not not have any diabetic issues, nor did I. They were both very healthy pregnancies/babies. I just make them big 😆

It’s not so much that I’m worried about the size (I’m on my 3rd section now thank god lol) but I just want to make sure that he is ok. I’m worried about the proportion of him! 
I suffer with a lot of anxiety so it’s just sent me through the roof. 
Thank you for your words tho, it does make me feel better that others have felt the same xx
