Where do you all live?!

Where do you guys live (city, state)? Do you like it?! How is cost of living etc...? 
Trying to move somewhere new/different. I am currently in Florida... I want to get an idea of what’s out there!

I live in California. My rent is $3k a month. Definitely wouldn’t recommend moving here if you’re on a budget lol!

I live in a small prejudice town in Arkansas. there’s no jobs and nothing to do. some houses are $500+ for rent, but they look like they should cost $50, but there are also some really nice neighborhoods. you would want to go back to florida in a week. but hey, we have 2 universities here.

SLC Utah! Really just depends on the area and what you’re looking for. Scenery is beautiful if you love mountains or deserts.

Colorado..rent for 3 bedroom house is anywhere from 1500-3000

Upstate New York! So beautiful here where I live. Wouldn't recommend if you can't deal with cold winters though

I live in So Cal. We live in a 2 bedroom 2 bath and it is $2,250 a month 😕. I love the weather here and lots to do but it’s so expensive and frustrating. We are trying to look for a 3 bedroom 2 bath right now and it will probably be around $3,000 a month

I live in Florida, but I have been staying in Washington state from about 4 months with my mother (flying home November 5th) and being here has made me realize that Florida is built for you to struggle basically. Unless you have a ton of schooling for a high end job, Florida is almost impossible to thrive in. Minimum wage in washington is 13/hr and the rent is about the same. Some of the groceries are more expensive, but if you’re struggling, Washington gets a lot of money from the marijuana tax, and it goes toward social services like food stamps. Its very easy to qualify for food stamps and you dont even have to report a job you get if you dont make over $1300/month. I wish my fiance were willing to move up here so we didnt have to struggle, but he will never leave florida. I really don’t understand why.
