Weaning Help!

I’m feeling so guilty with weaning my 21 month old right now! I wanted to make it to two years but he only nurses for naps and throughout bedtime. So far it’s been two days with no boob when he goes to sleep and he just cries and asks for it and he doesn’t want me to comfort him any other way until he gets tired and wants to lay down. I feel like maybe I’m taking him off too soon and he’s not ready for it mentally or emotionally but it just gets so sore! By the middle of the night it feels like he’s just sucking my boob and nothing is coming out. I’m ready to stop and obviously at the same time not since we’ve been doing this everyday for almost two years but I can’t help but feel bad for my LO ☹️
