About two years ago, I fell in love with my very first boyfriend. He was prefect to me. Everyone else warned me there was something going on with him and there was something not right with him. Little by little it started to make sense, he told me not to wear make up, because I didn’t need it. One day I did and he hit me. Not hard but he still did and he’s like I told you not to wear make up. He’d force me to go down on him, and when I’d say no he’s grab me by the neck and say “what are you going to do about it” and all I could do is cry. I eventually went to the police because he got in my head that if I did he’d kill himself. When I went to report it, we got a restraining order against him but he never went to jail.

After all that I still loved him...

Fast forward to about a year and a half later. I found out his sister had passed away. I sent him a text saying I was sorry for his family’s loss. He had said he was sorry for everything that had happened and that he never meant for it to go like that. He said it has been killing him that he did that to me( he lied to everyone and said that I had made it up come to find out, and I didn’t know it at the time). We had communicated for awhile, and I believed him when he said he changed, and he wouldn’t do anything like that again.
