Ballet???

I am debating on if I should do ballet. I did one year of it when I was really little and now that my sister is in the nutcracker I would love to be in it too but I need to have ballet experience and be enrolled in a class. Should I do it? I’m nervous because if I am out into a class it would be with like 7 year olds or something and that would be embarrassing. I’m a sophomore and I don’t want to be in that low of class. I have a lot of muscle in my legs since I have played soccer for 11 years and I think I would be good at it but I don’t even know how to do the splits. Help!!!!
