Is this play yard safe for sleep?

Question

We bought a gently used Graco play yard with bassinet insert from a yard sale. It looks to be in excellent condition, except that the mattress insert thing is curved in the middle, not flat. I looked online and Graco doesn’t sell replacement parts for this model, sadly, so I would either need to use it or buy a whole new one. It’s what we wanted to use instead of a crib until we move a couple months after baby is born. But I grow more and more uncomfortable with the curve. I’ve had it laying flat, upside down, hoping the curve will work itself out over time with gravity. But I’m a first time mom here and asking for expertise from experienced moms. Is this curve safe or is it supposed to be 100% flat? (Side note: I’m asking for a dock a tot on my registry and had planned to use that in there as well if I receive one; haven’t decided if I would buy it myself if no one gets it as a gift first—if I had that in there, would that be safe?) Thanks in advance for advice! 
The model is from September 2016, if that’s at all relevant. It’s still sold online through Graco, though definitely a lot more than what I paid for it :P

I just went through this with my graco pack and play. I emailed the company through their contact us on their website and they replaced my whole.pack and play for free since my mattress wouldnt lay flat anymore

Personally, I think it is just fine. All my play yards have had weird things going on with the bottom. You could lay it out and place heavy things on it to help straighten it out. I know many people are using the dock a tots now, but they are not considered safe for children to sleep in, while many children do sleep in them without any issue they are not best according to standards.

For every baby a new mattress has to be used. So it would not be ok for the baby sleeping on a second hand mattress.

Thank you so so much for all the advice!! I’ve got it upside down with a TON of books on top of it now and I’ll leave it for a few days or couple weeks and see if that does the trick. If I feel uncomfortable with it then, or like doing that compromised its structural integrity (it’s not a mattress; it’s like a board thing with foam on one side and panels built into it underneath; if this heavy books business cracks those or something I’m going to call it quits haha), I’ll go ahead and just order the crib and we’ll use that from the getgo. But yeah I’ll try this first and then see what my gut says. Thank you!! :) :)

Roll the opposite way from the curve (so with the print on inside of the roll) and tie it. Leave it a few days. Unroll and see if that fixes it.

Try to bend it.. Put maybe something heavy on top to flatten it out..

Put it upside down and put something heavy on it so it flattens......leave it for 24 hours at least and it should straighten it

You could take measurements and see if there is a mattress that size out there already. Or u could make ur own mattress put of thick foam. It's not too squishy but it is comfy. We use it in the back of our truck.
