Amnio results...still waiting after 4 weeks

So I had an amnio done and the FISH results came back normal but I’m still waiting on the full panel amnio results. They said it’d take 2 weeks. I called them yesterday and they said the cells just finishing growing and now the lab can finish...most likely by Wednesday. I was shocked that the cells “just” finished growing since it’s been 4 weeks!! Asked the nurse if this could mean something was wrong and she said she’s seen results both good and bad and that all cells grow at their own pace. She said it could have been the sample taken didn’t have enough cells to culture so it took longer.

Anyone else have to wait this long and end up with normal results? Thanks!!
