Pimple or Cold sore??

Sorry if this is gross,
This thing on my lip appeared yesterday morning. It is pretty painful to the touch and is very swollen. I’ve never had a cold sore so idk exactly what it feels like. It is also a little bit hard so that’s why I suspect it’s a pimple. What do y’all think it is??

Could just be a pimple but it’s so close to your lip. I’d say it’s a cold sore. I’ve had pimples close to my lips and they’ve never looked like that. Everyone is different tho 🤷🏼‍♀️ leave it alone for the next few days. It should go down from there
