Timing ovulation while on Clomid?

Question

I’m currently on round 2 of Clomid (100 mg, cycle days 5-9). I went in on days 13 (Wednesday) and 18 (today) for an ultrasound and today I have a follicle on the left ovary! 👏🏻 
However, my doctor said that using OPKs with Clomid is unpredictable and you can never trust the results...so how do you ladies figure out your ovulation days while on Clomid? Cervical mucous? Cervix position? BBT? 
What is the most accurate? 🤷🏼‍♀️

My doctor recommends using opks when on clomid to try and pin point ovulation. I also get a blood drawn done on CD 21 to test for progesterone levels that show ovulation.

2nd cycle on 100mg..positive opk cd14..faint bfp 11dpo..attached is my opk n htp..good luck..

My fs has me use opks to see when im surging and when i got a positive i would go in and get an ultrasound to make sure my follicles were looking good! I think you should still use opks. They dont tell you when you ovulate, they tell you when your lh is surging which means your about to ovulate.
