My life with Gastroparesis...
I had always been sick in my young teen years. Throwing up for no reason. Losing so much weight. Finally after my mom realized I wasn’t faking it and I actually was sick all the time and in pain, we started with testing. August of 2018 I was diagnosed with Gastroparesis. I’ve lost 20+ pounds in the last 3 months and they are talking about a feeding tube if I cannot eat/keep food down and can’t maintain weight. So here is what it looks like. 5 hours after forcing myself to eat a few small pieces of bland chicken. Bloated to the extreme. Nauseous, in pain and overall completely uncomfortable. I can’t sleep at all because no position is comfortable. Taking every medication the doctor has given me, in high hopes one will be the magic pill. Nothing. Struggling for years for a diagnosis that still has me with nothing.
