I'm going to do it...

I'm scheduled to return to work in two weeks after having my baby girl. Today I'm going to put in my two weeks notice. My husband and I have been talking about it since I got pregnant, but we needed to be sure our money would be ok.

In January I'll be doing my field experience to complete my teaching degree. I'll have my masters in General Education 1-6 and Special Education 1-6. So if I can get hired as a teacher after I earn my degree I will still be out of work until sept.

I feel like I should be scared but I'm not. I'm more afraid of messing up my degree some how or not passing the certification exams.

I'll get an extra month with my baby girl and won't need to worry about a sitter this summer for her and our 5 yr old son. It's such a big step in our lives I had to share with someone. Thanks for reading!
