Seeing waay too many rape/assault post

1. How you reacted to the situation is natural.. people react one of 3 ways in situations like this

•fight

•run

•freeze

And it doesn't matter how you reacted if you didn't want it.. you aren't to blame.

2. Blame the person who took your choice away from you.. they are the ones who suck.

3. Doesn't matter what you wore, what you drank, what you did... If you didn't want it.. they should have left you the fuck alone.

4. Some women (and men) get super confused due to the fact that they may have gotten wet, hard or even experienced orgasm even though they didn't like what was happening.. and that is called "Genital Nonconcordance" which is your brain telling your genitals.. "hey that's sexually relevant" guess what.. you're normal, your body did what it was supposed to do. Just because those things happened doesn't mean you enjoyed it or wanted it.

5. It's so fucking sad to me that so many people blame themselves for someone who took away their choice and I think it's important to help those people learn hey.. its not your fault.

So, no matter what happened when you were having your choice stripped away from you in the most heinous way remember this..

You are normal, you're not to blame, you didn't ask for it. Your attacker deserves to be behind bars..if you're not ready to take legal action against them, it's still okay.. but just be sure that you can help keep other people safe from them.. because no one deserves to be raped or sexually assaulted... And unfortunately sometimes your attacker will get away even if it went to court..and guess what it's not your fault.. you did your best.
