Wedding gift ideas

So a friend of mine is getting married in May. She and I are in college but she’s technically “graduating” this semester while I will next semester, so I won’t see her again until we walk across the stage.

I want to get her a gift for her wedding. This is my first time getting a gift for a someone getting married so what should I get them? Any married people, is there a gift you received that really stood out; or something you wish you could’ve gotten?
