Is labour coming?

I’m 40 weeks and 4 days. For the last week I’ve had on off cramping and tightening. My midwife did a sweep on Friday and said I was 1cm dilated. I was hoping for labour to start over the weekend. Today I’ve had a bloody show and one off cramps. Do you think my labour will start soon? Anyone else in this position or want to share experiences of labour

Bloody show is a good sign! I woke up with light bloody show for my second child, and hours later had contractions and full blown labor! Good luck!

I was having inconsistant cramps with my first I used nipple stimulation with in a few houes they became regular and began getting more and more intense. Worth a try sounds like your ready though and it won't be long.
