Which do you prefer?

I had a hospital birth and plan on doing another one. If you find the right hospital doctor/ midwife, and have a doula, the birth can be very natural without worry of having to move locations if something happens. I had lights off and battery tea candles on, relaxing sound machine for focus, everyone spoke very quietly/ relaxed, in the room for the majority of the time was just my husband and my doulas. I could move around the room, push in any position, yoga ball, shower for pain relief, hold my baby on my chest directly after for 2 hours I disturbed, delayed chord clamping, baby never left the room. The next hospital I want to try this time has birthing pools.

I had a car birth. Wouldn’t recommend it but it was pretty easy! 😂
I would choose a birth center or natural-friendly hospital birth only because there are so many variables and I want to have medical help available just in case. I’ve heard some terribly tragic stories about home birth and as much as I’d love to experience it, it’s too much of a gamble for me. I know those stories aren’t common, but they scare the heck out of me.

I've had two hospital births (although the second was almost a home/truck birth) and thinking about having a midwife and home birth this time! We shall see.

Planning my 2nd homebirth! Had a hospital with my first and knew I would not do it ever again, unless medically necessary.

I’ve had one hospital birth and I’m about to have my third home birth! For me it was night and day.
