Flu or cold

Okay so recently my sweet loving caring DH got my son and sick. I’m not sure if it’s the flu or just a common cold. I’ve had this since thanksgiving. My symptoms are mild cough some sneezing and runny nose. I haven’t lost my appetite nor am I running a fever. Not super tired, but my chest does feel tight which started today. My son ho is only two months, god help him, ( please pray for him). He seems to have mild congestion. I took him to his pediatrician yesterday say that he’s not running fever, not wheezing, ears and throat looks fine. However, he’s coughing and sneezing. No runny nose no loss of appetite but he seems fussy. Do you think it’s a cold or the flu?
