I'M SO SCARED I'M SHAKING RN ,i'm dealing with depression and iv been self harming for a long time now but i accidentally did this Do i need stiching!?!?!?!? I'm so scared rn i don't know what to do i don't wanr anyone to know i do this and it's 3am i don't want my mom to find out will that heal normally?!?

You might actually need stitches. And sweetheart...you need help. Telling your mom is the best thing to do. Or call someone you trust. You’re clearly going thru something. I hope everything works out for you. ❤️

I had a cut like that in my thigh and all I used were butterfly bandages.  But you need to tell your parents. You have to get help or next time could be worse or your last cut considering how bad this one is.

Steri strips would probably close it for nose but you need it looked at and possibly stitched. And you are definitely at high risk for infection which trust me I know from experience can get very serious. I've been here and I get it you don't want anyone to know...but ultimately the faster you get help I promise eventually things will get better. The first step is the hardest but you have to take it. Honey, there’s nothing wrong with needing help. You need to talk to someone because you can’t keep hurting yourself like this. As for this cut, yes, you will certainly need stitches. However, as long as you clean with warm water and soup (VERY WELL) some super glue will do the trick. We use it (though medical kinds) in the hospitals all of the time.
