Ladies...???

Question

Is diarrhea a sign of labor or its just something u go threw?? 
I've had diarrhea all day an I'm already 3cm dilated an 38+4 today... Was wondering if things are okay in there or am I in labor? Been having some cramps here an there along with tightenings but nothing to strong... This is my 4th baby an all my other pregnancies were different then this.

With my last pregnancy I have vomiting, diarrhea, and cramping I went to L&D and was monitored I was having contractions my induction day was two days away so they just kept me and started my induction the next morning.

I had random bouts of diarrhea for a few days at a time starting around 37 weeks. i am 40+1 today and no sign of baby. It’s most likely a sign that your body is prepping for labor but not that you’re actually in labor.

The day my water broke w my 3 .... I was legit exhausted , tried to eat a yogurt and felt nauseas .... had wicked poops all day long, Laid on the couch and slept for hours , got up made dinner and went back to bed at 7p ( after more poops) I was only 35w6d so thought nothing of it ... woke up
St 215a in a small puddle on my bed and thought I peed myself .... went to the bathroom and it was still coming after I peed ... no contractions ... went to hospital at 8a still no contraction that I could feel ... I was 3cm ... at 115p things started to pick up and she was born at 248pm that day :)
