constipation in newborn??

my baby is formula fed and he's having issues pooping??? HELP HE'S CONSTIPATED AND POOPS EVERY OTHER DAY!!BUT I HAVE TO RUB HIS BUTT FOR HIM TO GO Ive switched formulas twice:/

Constipation isn't normal before babies start eating baby food. Talk to your pediatrician so they can help you find a formula that works for your baby. It takes a full week before you know how the formula works for your baby. So wait at least a week when you start new formulas before considering a different one

Try adding a tiny bit more water to the bottle. Warm baths help relax the bum too. And bicycle kicks every diaper change! In a few hours you should see movement

Switching formulas can do that it takes a few days for their tummy’s to adjust and both my kids are every other day poopers if they poop everyday I know they are coming down with a cold or something
