Child acting weird

My 2 year old son came back from his dads acting very weird. He wouldnt talk. He stood in a corner and couldn’t even stand up straight. Then found out he had a double ear infection and fever that his father didn’t notice.. ever since He came home he’s been purposely choking himself.. like digging his fist into his throat and Leaning up against a table to where his throat is on it until he gags... what is going on... could his father have something to do with it?
