Is it better to be first or last person when doing an interview?

Just wondering if you think it’s better to be first so the interviewees remember you and compare other people to you, or if it’s best to be last because they remember you best. Let me know!

I use to do the interviews for my old company. It doesn’t matter what order your interview is in. I always took notes called their references, made sure they are qualified for the job. It didn’t matter if your the first or last, if your a perfect fit for the job and made a great first impression then there is a good chance. After all my interviews it took me a couple of days to hire someone.

I’m in HR do all the interviews and it does not matter, I take notes on all candidates and save it to make unbiased unrushed choices
