Birthday presents?

Do you give the birthday presents you get for your child at their party or the morning on their birthday? M daughters birthday party is on her birthday this year and we are planning on giving her presents in the morning because we are covering the hallway in balloons (thanks to our elf on the shelf) and having her presents be at the end of the hallway. My husband thinks that it’s weird that we don’t bring presents to her birthday party but I think it’ll just be more stuff we would have to worry about loading around because the party won’t be at our house! What should I do?
