Marriage??

Question

My boyfriend and have been dating for about 6 months now and I believe we are both in love and committed. I’m only 20 and he has asked me to marry him only after 6 months. We’ve known each other since pre-k and I’ve loved him my whole life, but I feel we might be too young to get married and start a family. Our families are well off and because of that he suggested I be a housewife, but I don’t know about having kids and being home all the time it just doesn’t suit me. So should I say yes or give it time? Btw he’s also 20

Don't ever give up on your dreams. Go start a career. It is way too early to become a housewife Jesus Christ. If that's what he wants for you and will be intimidated if you have a career then he's afraid of and independent woman and wants to control you and therefore is definitely not marriage material

I think the best thing to do first is talk about your future. Make sure you both want the same things out of life. Be honest with him about your feelings toward being a housewife. If all goes well and you feel like saying yes, then say yes. Or, if you need more time, tell him. If he means it, he will be willing to wait.

Marriage is a serious decision that should not be taken lightly. And you are both still young, thus, you can continue to date until you do feel ready. 
But you should have a sit-down and talk about what you each want, in order to be on the same page. This way there aren’t any surprises later on. 
And if at the end of the day you both want to be married to one another someday, then there’s no need to rush. 
It’s okay to move forward at a more slower pace. ❤️

My opinion is, I don't think it's a good idea.. 
one, because you aren't even fully sure if that's how you want to live.. and if you do say yes, you'll regret it later. 
2, I think getting married after 6 months I way too soon... but that's just me..

I’d never marry someone who wanted me to be a home maker. If you have career aspirations and dreams you want to accomplish then I’d seriously consider not doing it.

First of all, I just want to point out that just because your FAMILIES are well off, does not mean Y’ALL are well off... Their wealth is not your wealth. So to throw that out there so 🤷‍♀️ makes me believe both of you are still too young right now to be considering marriage.. BUT it’s not me so oh well. 
I suggest giving yourself a moment to think, then decide. But even then don’t just run out and get married, use the engagement period to honestly reflect on what you want for YOURSELF in life. Not “him” and not “y’all”. YOU..
