I did pre-seed for about 7 months & did get pregnant. I'd say it was a helpful factor. I was told I probably wouldn't concieve without medical help. We tried for a total of a year and a half before our pregnancy, but only 7 months on pre-seed. I'd say worth it! I'm 9w3d pregnant & it's healthy.

There's no real way to tell if it actually works for a lot of women unless they've been TTC without Pre-Seed for over a year with no success. If you use it within a year and conceive, it could have just been your time and you probably would have conceived either way. So all these success stories of women who start TTC immediately with Pre-Seed and get pregnant could just as well have conceived on their own. I used it last year before my husband got deployed with no success over a 5 month period, but when he got back and we didn't use it, I conceived on the first try. The only reason it's proven to "work" is for women who have trouble with their own vaginal lubrication aka "not being wet enough" as sperm uses the woman's cervical fluid to travel to the egg. If you don't have enough lubrication, the sperm may not travel to the egg quickly enough before it dies off. If you have a problem with self-lubrication, have at it; it might be worth the $20. If not, you don't physically need it because all it is, is a water-based lubricant that doesn't harm or kill sperm.
