We could be friends

Hey, I am 26 and have a 1 year old, and my friends are not even thinking about kids, they are in a very different stage of life. I have been thinking for a while that I could use a friend that has similar interests, but I am quite shy and I don't speak the language of the country I'm living in very well. I am almost certain I'm not the only one. We could try to connect with other people in this post. Just writing something about ourselves and see if someone would be our friends. I am a phd student with a baby, I would love to have another soon and I try to travel as much as I can.
