At 1 years old was your baby completely off bottles? And only on sippy cups

Getting mixed reviews. My sons 11 months next week ....just curious. He drinks a sippy cup during the day

I had a baby in 2016 and all the "books" back then all said you should no longer be giving bottles after one. It has something to do with their mouth and speech development. It also might have something to do with the health of their teeth but I can't recall.

Yes, I stopped bottles at 9 months. We quit sippy cups at 15 months and now my daughter almost exclusively drinks from open cups.

At 11.5 months I took away her bottle and never gave her one again. She loved her cup!! Hope it will be that easy this time with daughter number two.

I breastfed and pumped (I work full time) so my sons were used to getting milk in a bottle. Once they started on solids and started having water (I never do juice) I slowly introduced sippy cups. I slowly started having our nanny give them milk in a sippy cup instead of a bottle at about 8 months. Once they hit 10 months they were completely off the bottle and by 12 months I quit with breastfeeding/pumping as well (they were pretty much self weaned so I just ended the whole process).
