It could also be signs of progesterone, which is produced after ovulation no matter the outcome. 
If your cycle is late you most likely ovulated later, so you might just have to wait and see.
Btw I wouldn't start doing opks this late in a cycle as they can be misguiding, in case you got into that thought. A positive opk at this stage could be ovulation on it's way, the test picking up on pregnancy hormones, or the horrendous witch on her broom waiting for takeoff, as the hormone that boosts ovulation also has some function of sorts around periods.
