My best friends stupid.

My best friend got into a relationship with a boy a few months ago, sometime in the middle of the summer. Anyway, he was fine at the beginning and then slowly he’s gotten more and more controlling. She’s not allowed to talk to any boys at all, even her friend who’s getting shipped out soon. She has to tell him everything she’s doing at all times, like if she goes to take a shower and doesn’t answer his messages in that time then he flips out and messages her saying she’s cheating and stuff, and then he gets mad that she didn’t tell him she was taking a shower. I tell her all the time that’s it’s not normal and she needs to leave him but she just thinks this is temporary and he’ll grow out of it.

He got mad at her for sharing a picture of some vampire dude from a tv show with a heart emoji, and completely went off on her that she’s a whore and her sharing stuff like that makes him look stupid for being with her, all kinds of stuff. And then today we went shopping with my mom and we were all in a van and I was in the front seat and she sat in the back with my brothers and I took a selfie of all of us and he started messaging her and calling her a whore and saying his friends agree with him about it being bad that she’s sitting next to him in the car.

My brothers 18, she’s freshly 15, he doesn’t like her like that at all, and they where just sitting next to each other in the van. And she just blows it off like him being like that’s completely normal.

I’d just realize she’d notice how controlling and insane this all is, and leave him. Before he kills her for looking at her brother too long or something stupid.
