Okay so my OB checks the position of the baby every appointment. Now her head is still really high up and not merging to my pelvic bone so he says, he also says that she’s sideways, so her bum is to the left of my tummy, knees to the right but her head down... I’m 39 weeks and 3 days and the way he’s talking is that I’m not going to go into labour naturally before my next visit (40 weeks 2 days) and that’s when the process of induction starts. He will send my information to the hospital and they will contact with when to come and what not... has anybody had a baby that was sideways and/or not merging to the pelvic area and deliver fine? I’m worried that she’s not going to go down to my pelvic area and pass thru on her own... he can’t tell me or predict that it will or will not happen but he doesn’t seem so positive that I’ll have a natural birth where I just have the baby vaginally.
