Kyleena IUD
Today I had he Kyleena IUD inserted and I believe it was one of the most painful experiences of my life. Last night, I was given vaginal misoprostol in order to further open my cervix as I have not given birth. The cramps from those pills were severe and began 4 hours after they were inserted. Today, I had the Kyleena IUD inserted and it was extremely painful and the cramps were excruciating. The nausea was overwhelming and I became sick a number of times. I have been using a heating pad to calm the cramps but does anyone have any other ideas besides heating pads and ibuprofen to calm the cramps?
