Some ways to help baby?

My daughter is 13months old and the last week she has been having really hard poops 💩, so hard she can’t get them out, I have to help. It’s also causing bleeding inside her bottom. She has a doctors apt tomorrow to check and find away to help her. She literally screams and cries for 30mins to an hour trying to push it out. The doctor kept saying apple juice or prune juice but hasn’t helped. Is there anything else I can do without using meds until I can see her doctor tomorrow?

My daughter has been constipated for a long time. Some just have a bent toward constipation. We have found that miralax a couple of times a week helps. We try to cut constipating foods like bananas and carrots and too much bread. We up foods that are good to help constipation like prunes, apricots, and peas. We try to up her fluid intake. We’ve found when she gets rally backed up that a suppository helps get what is stuck out and then she has an easier time going because she’s not holding in the hard stuff that’s got her so backed up. Dark caro syrup. Put a teaspoon in her bottle. Home remedy that my ped even actually recommended.

Try actual prunes rather than just the juice. I throw them in a pot with some water, boil them, then throw them in the blender since the skins a little tough. I give my son them daily. He was on miralax for over 6 months because he just couldn’t go everything made him constipated 🙈 he’s finally off it now though 🙌🏻
