How long did you wait?

Question

I am in the middle of a miscarriage with twins at 13 weeks. I am waiting to talk to the doctor about getting induced. I’m scared. 
I can’t stop thinking it’s something I did, even tho everybody will say it’s not.., 
How long did you guys wait before you tried to have another baby? Was it successful? 
I don’t plan on trying for a few months but I am just curious

Oh my goodness I'm so sorry, I lost my first at 5 weeks along which is nothing compared to your situation but I can tell you what I did. Not being that far along I didn't think it would be that hard, but it was very hard. I literally cried for a month straight, i couldn't get it out of my mind and felt tremendous loss. In the end I had to tell myself it happened because something was wrong and it wasnt going to end well, so it was what needed to happen for the baby and myself. So a month and a half after our loss we tried again and got pregnant right away and now have a 3-1/2 month old daughter. Most doctors depending on your situation will say to wait 1-2 cycles after your miscarriage, but in the end give yourself time to grieve and to heal physically no matter how long it takes. And remember it's not your fault, these things happen and for many reasons. Thinking of you during this time.
