Is anyone measuring bigger during their anatomy scan??

So I’m 24 weeks and 4 days 
We had our anatomy scan yesterday and babes is measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule so 26 weeks 4 days
He is approximately 2 lbs!
My due date based upon conception is May 4th
But he is measuring with a due date April 21
Which date is most reliable ???

I’ve never had a scan at 24 weeks, but I can say, all three of my pregnancies, I have had a substantial growth spurt (weight gain and inches) in weeks 22-25. Separate from my gradual growth throughout my pregnancies, this is always a “holy cow how did that happen?!” Month 🤣 I chalk it up to my babies having a big growth spurt at this time and then it evens out In the next few months. I do tend to have big babies. 8lb 6pz at 39w and 9lb 13oz at 40w.

Please don't let them change your due date. Stick with your conception dates. They convinced my mom because I was measuring big that her due date was wrong and they convinced her to get induced. Once I came out they realized they made a huge mistake, I was SIX WEEKS early, my lungs weren't functioning properly on their own, and they told her I wouldn't make it through the night. Obviously, I lived. But trust your original dates. I'm also 24 weeks, 2 days and my little guy is measuring 11 days ahead, he's in the 99th percentile. I just make big babies.

Mine was measuring 12 days ahead, but they left my due date. I’ve heard from a ton of people that the size estimates can be wildly off, so it’s unlikely they’ll change when you deliver.

Yes I’m measuring 1 week ahead and they tried to move my due date but I said no way leave it. I’ve had my last 4 babies on my due date and I’m planning to have this one May 3rd! My last one they were trying to induce labour a week early and I was just uncomfortable from it and still had her on my original date. Don’t change your date!

Don’t let them change your due date. Doctors are induce happy. My baby is measuring a few days behind the due date but I am 100% sure about the day we conceived and the day I ovulated, so there’s no way we’re wrong. Some babies just grow a little smaller or a little larger. But if they change your due date to an earlier date and your baby doesn’t come, they’ll likely want to induce when really your baby is just bigger and not further along. Just be careful.

It's be your dating scan. The anatomy scan is just that, an anatomy scan. It isn't reliable for getting a correct size. There is a lot of wiggle room on the sizing/weight. Babies also go through growth spurts inside. So they have been at the tail end of one. I know lots of woman told they were going to have "huge" babies and give birth to a 7lbs baby.

I’m 24+5 but am measuring 27. I’m not changing my due date (May 4th), but my oldest was a week early so I don’t expect to go to 40 weeks. Also, measurements on US aren’t as accurate after the first trimester. They told my friend her baby was going to be over 9lbs so they induced her and baby was barely 7lbs.
