Cervical sweep or stretching?

I’m due on feb 6th 💕 My dr says next week on wed when I come for

My appointment she is going to do a “cervical sweep or stretching” on me. She said it’s a 25% chance of putting someone into labour. But most of the times it just gets the body started on it happening sooner. She says i don’t have to do it if I don’t want to but that she’d prefer the baby born at 38/39 wks rather than 40 +. She said most first babies go over due naturally. Apparently the c section rate triples or something the longer u go in weeks ( probably due to bigger babies getting more stuck ) I’m getting scared lol!!!! 😪 anyone else had this done? Most ppl say it won’t do anything really.
