VA Loan

If anyone has used their VA loan to buy a house, can you tell me your experience? How much out of pocket? How much was your house? Was the process easy or difficult?

We are living with my grandmother for now as my husband just got out. He’s in the process of joining our local sheriffs office. We would rather buy a house to move into than rent. However we’re young and have never gone through this process. Any info helps. Thank you.
