Tylenol 3?? 12w pregnant

Question

So I have a broken tooth and the dentist gave me Tylenol 3 today - 300mg of Tylenol / 30mg of codeine. My OB said it’s okay to take and the pharmacist assured me as well but I guess I am just paranoid.... 
stupid question.. will the baby feel “high” lol. I have no other way to word it... 
I’m in so much pain but I’m willing to deal with it if I just shouldn’t take the meds.

why shouldn’t you take the meds? both professionals told you it’s fine? they study their practices for a reason don’t second guess them. i’m not sure what you want us to say

I would take it as sparingly as possible. I got a concussion in my third trimester and took it for a few days.

I took it when I had two teeth pulled. My Dr said it's perfectly fine as long as I don't overdo it. I only took one because I don't like taking meds tho but it didn't do anything to baby. If you take it back to back and just because baby and you can become dependent on it like other drugs is what I've heard so I would just take it if you really need it. Hope you feel better
