Going back to work, leaving baby for the day

I go back to work in a couple weeks and we have a sitter set up to watch our daughter during the week at the sitters house since she has other kids she watches. I trust this person but I am so nervous to leave my little 2 month old. I work full time so it’ll be about 8 hrs a day for 4-5 days a week. I feel like I’m going to miss so many things in her life or she’ll get confused who her mom is. Being a stay at home mom is not really an option right now and we don’t have any family near to watch her either. How did you guys handle leaving your baby for the first time?
