Baby led weaning how to?

What exactly did you do to introduce solids by baby led weaning? What did you give them? How often? Did you only do one food at a time for a few days? Did you just sit them in the high chair and put the food on the tray and let them pick it up or did you feed them? Sorry I don’t know much about it

This isn't a complicated concept. Baby led weaning is allowing babies to feed themselves and eat what you're eating. Very simple. So no, you're not feeding them. That defeats half the purpose of it. You put them in their high chair, chop up food, put it on their tray and let them eat it. They can eat whatever you're eating as long as you're cutting things in appropriate shapes and sizes.

I started between 6-7mo with both boys and just gave them whatever we were eating at the time in large pieces that they could grasp easily. Like someone else said, it’s super messy, but it’s so easy and they learn how to feed themselves instead of us having to take the extra time to feed them.

We started a little late, mostly because I just didn’t know where to start. So we started around 7 months. We started a few nights a week at first, giving him whatever we were eating for dinner, in manageable size pieces. I just put it directly on his tray and let him pick what he wants. At first he gagged a lot and he vomited some, as he was learning, but that is part of the process.  
Overall it has been easy and fun. It is awesome to see my 8 month old eat and love salmon with asparagus.

We started at around 6 months, and basically sat her in her chair and gave her a few finger-shaped pieces of one soft-cooked food at dinnertime, since I work outside the home.  We relaxed from the one food every 3 days schedule pretty quickly.   
Her first was actually asparagus that she grabbed off her dad's fork, lol.  It's still one of her favorites.

I started at 5 months old (ONLY because my pediatrician told me to). At that time I just gave her 1 teaspoon of infant oatmeal mixed with breast milk and a tiny smear of peanut butter (to try and avoid peanut allergies). We did that 1x a day l. Don't do that unless your doctor tells you though. 
Once she turned 6 months old, we started introducing baby food. I just did regular jarred baby food. Once a day, just for some tastes. I only introduced 1 food at a time, to keep an eye out for any potential allergic reactions. I would switch to a new food every 4 or 5 days if I saw no signs of allergies. 
Honestly, the best thing to do is ask your pediatrician what to do.
