Contractions??

Question

Ftm so I don't know what to expect. I've experienced BH before. Light cramping and tightening that don't really even hurt, just noticeable discomfort.
However today, three times I've experienced very painful sharp pains in my uterus that kind of then radiate torwards my back. They go away after about 15 Seconds and are enough to go OW OW OW. and kind of need to breathe through them.
Do those sound like contractions?
Going to start timing them now...

Yup those sound like contractions. Time them. But honestly I wouldn't worry til they are unbearable. Like you cant focus on anything except them. That's how I knew with my first. They were so bad they sent me into tears and I was a suddenly  a contortionist. Hahaha. It's funny now, but not when it was happening.

15 secs is pretty short... idk if it’s contractions. Maybe round ligament pain?

Sounds like early labor contractions. If you have them 5 min apart for 1 min for 1 hour and you cant talk through them then head to l&d
