I’m not asking for advice anymore.

Every time I come to anyone, usually family members, with questions or general updates about how I’m feeling and what’s new in the pregnancy, everything I say gets downplayed and I end up just feeling stupid.

I’m 37 weeks and my legs started swelling in the shower for the first time tonight. I forgot what position to put them in to make the swelling go down so I asked my mom because she has had 3 kids. She had the nerve to tell me my legs weren’t swollen, and to wait until after I had the baby and got water weight, then they would be swollen. They’re badly swollen, too. And she really told me that my own legs weren’t swollen. And also turned into a “just wait” person. I swear I feel like people honestly just like pissing me off at this point. 🤣
