Should I tell my doctor about both miscarriages? Read first pls.

I miscarried end of July at 16 weeks. I’ve been ttc since. I found out I was pregnant again Dec. 31st and miscarried Jan. 1st. I’ve decided after trying for this long I’m going to go talk about my fertility. Idk if I should mention the 2nd miscarriage because I don’t want to be told “well you can clearly get pregnant and just can’t stay pregnant”. Which they will because they don’t do fertility stuff unless it’s been 6 months and they don’t do miscarriage testing unless you’ve had 3. So idk whether I should be honest or not. What would you do?

I would definitely mention both because for all you know there may be a correlation.

If you don’t tell and then have a third, you’d have to have 4 before your doctor tested. I would tell them about the second for sure. They can be more precautious next time you get pregnant like testing your blood more or telling you to take baby aspirin. I have had 2 and now am 9 weeks with number 3 and it’s looking good so far! Don’t give up hope! I know it’s hard 💗
