Abortion or no?...

Question

My fiancé of two years and I recently found out that we’re pregnant (he’s 18 I’m 17) we’re still in high school and he has his heart set on wanting the abortion but I have a problem with it because it would go against everything I believe in. I get really depressed a lot and I know that if I get it done I’ll blame myself for it and I’ll resent him for wanting it so badly.. I don’t know what to do and I just need support...

It is not his decision at all. Absolutely do not make a decision based off of what your boyfriend wants. If he didn't want a baby he shouldn't have had sex, even if it was protected he should know there is always a risk. You obviously don't want an abortion.

DONT EVER GET AN ABORTION IF YOU DONT WANT ONE!!!! If he leaves you because of your decision then let him go. It’s a sign that he wasn’t meant to be with you. He’s probably just as scared as you, of not more. And that’s ok. Bottom line, don’t ever be forced into getting rid of your baby.

It’s your body and you get to make the choice no one else. There are other options if you choose. I’m sure it would be really easy to find a loving family to adopt your baby if you weren’t in the position or didn’t want to raise it on your own. Don’t let anyone make the choice for u

tell him that. he cant force you to do what you dont want to do. if he makes a huge deal over it, then leave him. it takes two to make a baby

Your body your choice. If you don’t want to do it and you go through with it you will regret it and it will be something you’ll always think about and hurt about. An abortion is something you have to want to do.

It sounds like deep down in your heart you know what you want to do. Don’t let him or anyone else pressure you. This is your body and your baby, you do whatever you think will be best for the baby and you.

With things like this you have to listen to what you want and no one else. Do what’s best for you, your mental health, and your baby. If that means you don’t want to abort, then you have other options. Adoption is an awesome thing, there are so many parents wanting babies.  If you want to keep the baby, I’ve seen a lot of teenagers turn into AMAZING moms. If dad doesn’t want the baby, it’s his loss. If you chose to abort, that’s also okay too!  Just make sure it’s your decision and it’s not influenced by anybody else’s unsolicited “advice”. ❤️

In response to your update, you definitely don't need to be with this asshole. The only one being irrational and unreasonable is him trying to force you to abort your baby that you obviously don't want to abort.
