Wish I can get a baby shower :(

Am 35 weeks and have been giving hints to some of my close friends that it would be nice to have a baby shower but didn’t get a response

I wish I could have a baby shower like I have already bought everything that I need but may be I just want to feel special and get regular whatever gifts anyone wants to give I don’t even want a registery

I know baby showers can be expensive but I just want something simple

A few days ago I was like let me just do one for myself and ask one of the girls to send the invites but then I was thinking that’s so desperate lol as if I don’t already sound desperate

Just wanted to vent :(
