Can i be mad?

Hi, ladies,

So I'll preface this by saying that normally this wouldn't bother me, but I've been snowed in for the last 2 weeks so I'm bored out of my mind.

Anyway, today was my husband's only day off this week and I was really looking forward to spending time with him since I've been at home with the baby for the last two weeks, especially because I had the flu this last week and haven't really seen him since I've been in bed by the time he gets home from work. So his folks live a few miles away from us and his sister and her boyfriend have been visiting this week, and his brother and sister in law showed up last night. Because I've been under the weather, and also because having a baby means I have to be at home at a certain time, I haven't really seen anyone this week, just a few hours here and there.

Anyway, I was looking toward to today as a day to get out of the house, I'm finally feeling better, and I'd get to see everyone. Well last night my husband says he's planning on snowmobiling today with his dad, which is fine, he hasn't really had a chance to get out. Well this morning he tells me that everyone else is also going and that they'll probably just tool around and be back home early. So I barely saw my husband today because he was getting all of the sleds ready for everyone and then they took off. He said maybe I could go shopping today to get out of the house. Not to be bad, but I don't really feel like grocery shopping 😑

Anyway, they said they'd be home at 5 by the latest. Currently 5:45, I've been waiting at his folks house for 2 hours, can't get ahold of anyone. I'm just bored and I'm a little angry. I mean I know I had set expectations for this day in my head so it's not anyone's fault but mine. I have to leave soon to put the baby to bed so I guess I'm not going to see anyone before they go home tomorrow.
